ActiveSync (for Windows XP only) is a synchronization tool for those who own a Microsoft phone. Simply said: it can manage the content of your mobile phone from a Windows desktop PC.
This program works with certain versions of Microsoft Outlook, connects to the phone and keeps your data up-to-date. In addition, ActiveSync can also manage users, configure connections and more.
- Sync is a file transfer app with full sync, backup and restore for local, external or cloud storage. NOTE: Local drive is free while Removable drives and Cloud storage.
- Exchange ActiveSync This test simulates the steps a mobile device uses to connect to an Exchange server using Exchange ActiveSync. Synchronization, Notification, Availability, and Automatic Replies These tests walk through many basic Exchange Web Services tasks to confirm they're working.
Method 2 – Sign in With Different Microsoft Account Since syncing and Microsoft account are tightly connected, if you’re not able to sync your settings, maybe your Microsoft account is damaged. To check that, you should log in with another Microsoft account, and see if the problem still exists.
With ActiveSync 4.5, you can also upload and download images and videos from your phone.
Unfortunately with this version of ActiveSync, you can no longer connect with your wireless network or LAN, therefore you should already have the appropriate USB cable.
